Driver/Client Transporter

Shift: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday and Saturday

Pay: $15.00–$16.00/hour

Location: Quakertown Facility 2705 North Old Bethlehem Pike, Quakertown, PA

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dependable and compassionate Driver/Client Transporter to provide safe, caring, and professional transportation for clients. Our drivers are often the first and last point of contact for clients receiving care, making this role an important part of the overall treatment experience.

Driver/Client Transporters safely transport clients to and from clinical, ancillary, and support services while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and secure environment.

What You’ll Do

• Transport clients to and from behavioral healthcare, clinical, ancillary, and support services. • Provide appropriate safety oversight and monitoring for clients during transport. • Maintain a safe environment for clients, yourself, and coworkers. • Communicate with clients, coworkers, and the treatment team in a positive and professional manner. • Deliver excellent customer service, including during stressful situations. • Maintain knowledge of the client transportation system and its functions. • Clean and sanitize vehicles to ensure a safe transportation environment. • Respond appropriately to emergency or crisis situations. • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with no points or active tickets required. • Prior experience in a hospital, behavioral healthcare, patient care, or transportation setting preferred. • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. • Completion of required safety training upon hire. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to follow oral and written instructions. • Ability to sit for extended periods and complete frequent longer-distance transports. • Ability to work occasional irregular hours or provide short-notice coverage when needed.

Work Environment

This position involves regular contact with clients under a variety of circumstances, including possible exposure to patient-related elements. The role may involve interruptions, multiple inquiries, emergency situations, and crisis response. Personal protective equipment, including masks, is required when transporting clients.

Employment Requirements

Selected candidates must successfully complete any required background checks, drug screening, and state-mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.
