Clinical Fair Market Value (FMV) Analyst
Location: Warsaw
About the role
The Clinical Fair Market Value (FMV) Analyst supports the development and review of clinical trial budgets globally. The role is focused on ensuring that site payments and negotiated fees are fair, consistent, data-driven, and aligned with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with Clinical Trial teams and other cross-functional partners, using market data and study-specific information to establish budget ranges, support negotiations, and assess escalated fee requests.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain budget negotiation ranges for clinical trial activities based on protocol requirements, market data, and regulatory standards.
- Review study protocols to identify required procedures, administrative fees, and other site-related costs.
- Use data platforms and benchmarking tools to support fair market value assessments and budget negotiations.
- Partner with Clinical Trial teams and cross-functional stakeholders to improve budget development and negotiation processes.
- Review and analyze escalated or out-of-range fees and assess supporting site rationale.
- Provide clear, data-based recommendations and documentation to support compliant and consistent decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and alignment across global clinical trial budgeting activities.
Requirements
- Experience in clinical research, clinical trial budgeting, site contracting, finance, healthcare economics, or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, benchmarks, and cost information.
- Good understanding of clinical trial processes and/or site budget development.
- Ability to interpret study protocols and translate requirements into cost considerations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable making data-driven recommendations.
- Very good command of English.
