The Information Technology Division is responsible for re-imagining how technology is used to streamline and simplify the services the Clerk’s Office provides to the citizens of Collier County. Whether it is assisting staff with hardware issues, deploying new equipment and technology, enhancing software to ensure our systems run at the optimal levels, protecting our data, or maintaining our networks and servers/cloud-based systems, the staff of the Information Technology Division plays a vital role. The Clerk’s Office is committed to utilizing innovative technology solutions to ensure the Clerk’s Office is working smarter and more efficiently with one simple goal in mind, ensure the need of the citizens of Collier County are met.
The SAP Instructional Designer will design and develop engaging content for a variety of audiences and delivery modes with clear strategies and tactics to achieve desired learning outcomes. This highly visible professional will consult directly with subject matter experts in the Clerk’s Office and the County to increase their business knowledge in the pursuit of refining and improving learning content.
Example of Duties
- Identify critical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to support learning objectives.
- Design and deliver creative learning content including scenario-based modules and case studies which engage learners and enable targeted knowledge and retention.
- Define learning outcome metrics and assess effectiveness of developed learning modules and document learning development standards.
- Ensure consistent quality of training content throughout all developed forms of media.
- Investigate existing data solutions for opportunities to improve business processes and participate with management in the investigation of new technologies.
- Stage data in the SAP training environment for learning development and delivery.
- Work with SAP Analysts to document modifications and or/configuration changes to existing applications and incorporate that knowledge into training classes and materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field, and equivalent experience in the analysis and development of adult learning. Training certification preferred.
