Description
Sourceability® is a global digital distributor of electronic components transforming how modern businesses bring products to market. With innovation, quality and logistics as the backbone of the company, Sourceability’s cutting-edge products and services expedite the procurement process across a wide range of industries, including communications/cellular, consumer electronics, and auto manufacturing.
We are looking for a dynamic PPV Coordinator to become a vital part of our vibrant Global Purchasing Team, working hybrid or remote (depending on location) across Mexico or the United States. Join the energy and come be part of the momentum!
The PPV (Cost Savings) Coordinator identifies, analyzes, and coordinates cost-reduction opportunities by reviewing customer Bills of Material (BOMs), quotations, and sourcing requirements from OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) customers. As the critical link between Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain, this role turns market intelligence, customer demand, and sourcing insights into prioritized opportunities that drive profitability, competitiveness, and customer value. It also supports the company's growth and sourcing strategy in the semiconductor and electronic components industry.
Our goal is to have a sophisticated team equipped with expert technical skills in addition to keen business acumen. Each member of our team adds unique value to the business and the customer. Sourceability is committed to a culture where we attract the best talent in the industry.
Insights on your impact:
- Analyze customer BOMs, RFQs, and component lists from OEM and EMS customers, evaluating sourcing feasibility, availability, lifecycle status, and pricing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prioritize opportunities by savings potential, sourcing success probability, customer strategy, and market conditions, so the PPV Sourcing Team stays focused on the highest-value opportunities and critical customer requirements.
- Review customer quote requests and align your analysis with customer-specific quoting and sourcing strategies. Build a strong understanding of each customer's supply chain strategy, purchasing behavior, competitors, and market positioning.
- Monitor semiconductor market trends, including allocation risks, lead-time fluctuations, excess inventory, and supply-demand dynamics. Use internal databases, market intelligence tools, supplier information, and sales feedback to qualify opportunities.
- Identify supply chain gaps, shortages, commodity trends, and potential supply interruptions that could affect customer production, sourcing, or purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives, Buyers, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership to evaluate opportunities and resolve sourcing challenges. Coordinate discussions on customer feedback, missed opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Work closely with the PPV Team Lead, Supply Chain Manager, Senior Purchasing Manager, and Director of Procurement to develop and implement new sourcing and quoting strategies.
- Prepare customer quotations for Sales that align with customer expectations, sourcing strategies, and profitability objectives, and support the sales team with analytical insights and recommendations.
- Review and maintain Automated Quote Strategy Files, coordinating updates with sales representatives based on customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews. Track sourcing outcomes and recommend process improvements, best practices, and SOPs that raise efficiency, accuracy, response times, and conversion rates.
- Stay current on semiconductor industry trends and supply chain disruptions, and continuously build your expertise in electronic components, semiconductor technologies, lifecycle management, and procurement best practices.
- Lead by example by stepping into departmental activities when operational demands require it, fostering a culture of accountability, responsiveness, teamwork, and customer focus.
Your qualifications, your influence:
To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, including leadership responsibility within a global environment.
