Description
This role supports Cocoa Dolce’s systems, principles, and culture by protecting product quality through shipping and receiving. The Logistics Team Member packs, labels, and ships orders to company, client, and guest standards, keeps inventory transactions accurate, and assists with lounge deliveries, fulfillment, and inventory projects. The position follows sanitation, OSHA, and FDA requirements, reports product or inventory issues to management, and assists Packaging and Production as needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB TASKS:
• Accurately prepare, package, and label products for shipment according to customer requirements and order information
• Complete system transactions that keep inventory accurate (delivery reports, order fulfillment, inbound shipments, and related records)
• Assist with delivery of product to local lounges as needed
• Support order fulfillment to meet daily, weekly, and monthly shipping goals
• Assist with inventory counts and project preparation
• Follow quality standards, company systems, procedures, and policies, including OSHA, FDA, and other applicable regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area and follow proper sanitary practices
• Communicate promptly with management, including reporting inventory discrepancies or product-quality issues
• Assist Packaging and Production as needed
GUEST SERVICE/INTERACTION: Daily face-to-face, phone and email interaction with other staff throughout the organization. Frequent face-to-face interaction with management to exchange information and complete work tasks.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED, preferred

EXPERIENCE:
- At least 16 years of age
- Previous shipping and receiving experience, preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Drivers license, required
- Adequate driving record, preferred
- Food handlers course, recommended
PHYSICAL:
- Requires regular bending, stooping and twisting, and the ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in close quarters with others.
- Must be able to visualize the computer screen and perform data entry.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Standing and moving about is required up to 100% of the time
- Requires the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Requires the flexibility to work extending hours or shifts for peak seasons
