Overview

As a Senior Account Specialist at Solventum, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding product adoption, and building strong customer partnerships. We currently have an opening for a Senior Account Specialist within the Medical Surgical Business. In this mid-level sales role, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering commercial results across assigned accounts, driving product adoption, and building strong customer partnerships. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who can identify opportunities, navigate challenges effectively, and apply practical, creative thinking to meet customer and business needs.

Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver assigned sales targets and operating plan commitments for the fiscal year through disciplined account planning and execution.
  • Drive growth within designated accounts by executing sales strategies aligned with business priorities and marketing initiatives.
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to expand adoption, improve account penetration, and accelerate conversion of key opportunities.
  • Provide high-quality clinical and product education to customers, including product application training and support across a range of customer needs and settings.
  • Partner closely with Key Accounts, Marketing, and cross-functional team to advance strategic opportunities and deliver business outcomes.
  • Support customer evaluations, product trials, and implementation activities to ensure effective product adoption and positive customer experience.
  • Deliver professional education sessions and represent the business at customer meetings, workshops, and relevant industry events where required.
  • Use sound judgment to solve customer and business challenges proactively, with the ability to think creatively and identify practical, value-added solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the business, product portfolio, market dynamics, and relevant adjacent healthcare segments to support effective selling.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Relevant sales or healthcare industry experience, preferably in medical devices or a related clinical setting.
  • Prior wound care experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Relevant certifications in wound care or other clinical specialty areas would be an added advantage.
