Building Automation Technician - 40h Days

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

M-F 7am-3:30pm. On-Call once every 12 weeks.

Under the general direction of the Utilities Manager and within established Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable codes and practices performs a wide variety of repairs, overhaul, and servicing duties on hospital plant and equipment with emphasis on building automation equipment.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• A thorough understanding of HVAC and controls principles and practices
• A knowledge of a back net building automation system
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, access crawl spaces; able to work extra shifts, able to work in harsh environment, such as boiler rooms, mechanical spaces, crawl spaces

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification:

• Refrigeration Technician License Preferred

Salary Range: $33.82-$52.24
