Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Site Patrol in Hazelwood, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols across assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Guided by a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, and integrity, you will play an important role in daily site operations.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access activity and help to verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following visitor management and badging procedures as directed by the location.
- Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, while maintaining a visible presence across the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
