Senior Associate | Projects - Construction | Brisbane

Seeking a remarkable Senior Associate to join our market leading Brisbane Construction  Practice

• Join a tier-one ranked construction practice
• Collaborate and contribute to a successful and impactful team
• Work with a variety of clients, and help bring to life some of the most significant and game changing projects in Queensland

This role will see you working closely with front-end specialists Chris Slocombe and David Lester contributing to a diverse range of matters — including some of the largest, high-profile and complex construction and infrastructure projects in Australia. The team acts for a wide range of public and private clients across the energy and resources, renewable energy, transport, and commercial development sectors. You will also gain exposure to high profile Olympics work in the lead up to 2032.

We welcome applicants with a range of experience, as our team works across traditional construction projects as well as those with private finance elements. You will be exposed to a wide variety of market leading front-end construction and projects work, including assisting clients with procurement processes and preparing and advising on the full spectrum of delivery models across industry sectors.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar senior associate level position
• High quality private practice experience and/or exceptional experience working in-house within the government/construction/projects industry
• Strong academic ability and drafting skills
• The ability to provide timely, accurate and commercially astute advice
• A strong sense of purpose, ambition and a proactive approach to your work
• A desire to work within a dynamic, supportive and fast-paced team environment on complex construction and infrastructure projects
• In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter. Someone who is able to work autonomously and is focused on attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to our clients.
