Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support daily security-related operations through clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. At Allied Universal, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work with integrity and teamwork, and help create a professional first impression in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, processing guest and vendor check-ins, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Answer phones, greet incoming personnel, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding visitor access, shipment activity, and/or front desk concerns.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required logs and/or communication channels.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining an attentive presence at the front desk, observing entry areas, and following established access control procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
