What You Can Expect:
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate ocean import shipments, including FCL, LCL, and consolidation cargo.
- Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries and shipment updates.
- Liaise with overseas offices, carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Prepare, review, and manage shipping and import-related documentation.
- Issue and verify documents such as Arrival Notices and Delivery Orders.
- Maintain accurate shipment and customer data in the Transport Management System (TMS).
- Support invoicing, shipment closing, and operational reporting activities.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate logistics solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
What You Bring:
Qualifications
Required
- Diploma, Vocational School Certificate, or Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 1 year of professional working experience.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic English communication skills, including email correspondence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, import/export, customer service, or administrative operations.
- Experience in customer-facing or coordination roles.
- Knowledge of import documentation and international trade.
- Experience using logistics systems such as CargoWise or other TMS platforms.
- Business-level English proficiency.
