Compensation
Starting at $23.00/hour, with additional compensation based on experience.
What You'll Do
As a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will provide leadership and operational support throughout Culinary Services. Responsibilities may include oversight of dining room, dish room, and kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing supervision and leadership support across Culinary Services operations
- Ensuring prompt, courteous service for Residents and Guests in accordance with Willow Valley standards
- Coordinating team member activities and work assignments, while maintaining the ability to step into operational roles as needed
- Addressing resident concerns and resolving service-related issues
- Assisting with the coordination and planning of special functions and events, in addition to daily operations
- Overseeing compliance with Culinary Services policies and procedures and recommending improvements when appropriate
- Maintaining records including meal counts, charges, daily activity reports, and food safety documentation
- Scheduling team members to align with operational needs and budget requirements while maintaining timekeeping records
- Inspecting dining rooms and service stations to ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards are met
- Managing requisitions for table linens and dining room supplies
- Conducting team meetings and communicating important operational information
- Training team members to ensure Willow Valley service and quality standards are consistently achieved
- Following Willow Valley's HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures
- Using computer programs to complete reports and communications
- Supporting purchasing activities, including ordering food and supplies, inventory oversight, data entry, receiving, and storage procedures when assigned
What We're Looking For✅
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school;
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
⏰Schedule & Hours
Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- 11:00 AM - Close, Every Other Weekend + Every Other Holiday
