The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Chief of Staff – International Operations and Policy to join our team in Arlington, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure the initiatives, directives, and tasks of the function are progressing in accordance with required timelines/suspenses.
- Review and create preparatory and presentation materials for executive engagements, including CEO and other EXCO engagements with US Government officials and foreign dignitaries.
- Engage functional department leaders from across GovOps, BDS, BCA, BGS, and Boeing Global through regular meetings and communications to ensure alignment and calibration.
- As necessary, represent the Vice President in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and communicate the agendas, content, and materials for internal and external meetings, including the use of Artificial Intelligence to do so.
- Prepare leaders for meetings and manage follow-up tasks.
- Builds rapport and trust amongst team members and key external stakeholders to maximize collaboration in achievement of Boeing goals.
- Ability to determine the process to be used to accomplish goals, properly document processes, know how to organize people and activities, understand how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes.
- Effectively manages organization budget, to include sponsorship and membership payments.
- Ensure consultant/membership relationships are managed effectively in the achievement of GovOps goals.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, leadership, consulting, and/or project management
- 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional environments
- Experience with government relations
- Experience leading teams either formally or informally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and an eagerness to build relationships
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
