PAY RATE
- The pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process, verify, reconcile, and document inbound and outbound cash containers, deposits, residuals, replenishments, coin, E-Cash, change orders, and adjustment requests.
- Count containers; record amounts, serial numbers, dates, manifests, and check-in/check-out information to ensure accountability and accurate tracking.
- Compare container serial numbers with manifests, change shipments, and other documentation to verify accuracy.
- Prepare outbound containers for replenishments, E-Cash, and change orders.
- Sort and stage containers/service items according to assigned routes for Cash-in-Transit (CIT) operations. Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring compliance with security procedures
- Maintain the security and accountability of vault inventories and cash processing liabilities by executing established controls and adhering to security procedures.
- Report all incidents, events, discrepancies and faults regarding the vehicle or daily assigned work
- Identify and mitigate operational risk by following established cash handling, reconciliation, and container transaction procedures.
- Report incidents, discrepancies, equipment or vehicle issues, and other operational concerns promptly to management.
- Complete departmental documentation, reports, and required records accurately and submit all required files before the end of each shift.
- Assist management with operational planning, scheduling, workflow prioritization, and staffing adjustments to support efficient daily operations.
- Serve as a resource for internal and external clients by responding promptly to requests and providing professional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable security industry standards, regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures, and all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Adhere to all security procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of client information.
- Complete required training and ongoing self-study to maintain knowledge of security practices, cash processing procedures, and company operations.
- Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to assigned work schedules.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job satisfactorily, an employee must be able to carry out each essential duty competently. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and abilities required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Vault operation, retail banking, security industry, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Obtain and maintain relevant State Regulatory Board Unarmed Security Officer license
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards.
- Learn and apply information, on a wide range of security services, as well as compliance requirements, in order to assess security concerns and help develop security solutions.
- Resolve problems utilizing knowledge and experience.
- Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.
- Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment.
- Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Set priorities and manage one’s own time effectively.
