    Additional Job Details (if applicable)

    About the Role
This regional, field-based role provides leadership for cardiac diagnostic services across the North region. You will help align practices across sites, foster collaboration, and ensure teams have the support and resources needed to deliver safe, coordinated care as services evolve.

Schedule: Full-time, salaried, Monday through Friday, generally 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required to respond to staffing needs, urgent issues, weather events, and occasional evening or weekend responsibilities.

Location and travel: The role supports locations in Haverhill, Newburyport, Lawrence, Salem, and other North Shore communities in Massachusetts, as well as New Hampshire. Occasional meetings may take place at Assembly Row in Somerville. Regular travel between sites is expected, although visits to multiple locations in a single day are uncommon.

    Why You’ll Love This Role

    • Lead an experienced, collaborative team with strong tenure and a shared commitment to patient care.
    • Help improve patient access, safety, care coordination, and the team member experience.
    • Partner with physicians and clinical and operational leaders across the region.
    • Shape consistent practices across sites while supporting future service and location growth.
    • Contribute to future initiatives, including intravenous certification opportunities for echo sonographers.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide leadership for cardiac stress nurses, cardiac echo sonographers, and vascular sonographers across assigned North region locations.
    • Oversee a team of approximately 20 direct reports, including staffing, scheduling, coverage planning, onboarding, coaching, and staff development.
    • Partner with cardiology providers, practice leadership, scheduling teams, and clinical colleagues to improve workflows, quality, access, and patient experience.
    • Maintain visibility across sites through rounding, staff check-ins, and collaboration with site-based teams.
    • Support quality improvement, regulatory readiness, emergency preparedness, workflow standardization, and urgent operational needs.
    • Oversee equipment integrity, annual inspections, vendor relationships, and related follow-up to support safe, reliable cardiac diagnostic operations.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experienced nursing leader with strong cardiovascular knowledge and clinical judgment.
    • Independent and collaborative leader who builds trusted relationships, makes sound decisions, and works effectively with regional partners across multiple locations.
    • Strong coach and mentor with a commitment to staff development, accountability, and engagement.
    • Ability to balance patient access, clinical safety, staffing needs, and operational priorities across multiple sites.
