Position Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager IV to lead multiple medium- and high-complexity technology projects across cross-functional business and IT teams. This role will manage approximately 3–6 concurrent projects or low-complexity programs, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business requirements.

 

The Project Manager will oversee projects from planning through implementation, manage dependencies and risks, coordinate internal and external resources, and provide clear communication to project sponsors and stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead multiple cross-functional IT projects from initiation through implementation and closeout.

·       Define project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

·       Assemble project teams and manage resources in a matrix environment without direct reporting authority.

·       Lead sprint planning, stand-up meetings, project planning sessions, and status reviews.

·       Manage SDLC, IT infrastructure, network equipment replacement, and application-related projects.

·       Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk registers, budgets, forecasts, and other project documentation.

·       Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and obstacles and implement mitigation or contingency plans.

·       Manage scope, change control, project estimates, monthly cost accounting, and vendor invoice processing.

·       Coordinate activities among customers, technical teams, business units, vendors, and project sponsors.

·       Monitor vendor performance and deliverables against statements of work.

·       Provide timely project status, financial updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

·       Ensure project deliverables meet quality, business, and technical requirements.

 

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

·       Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

·       At least 5 years of experience managing multiple medium- or high-complexity IT projects in a matrix environment.

·       Strong knowledge of PMI-based project management principles and methodologies.

·       Experience managing projects using Waterfall, iterative, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.

·       Strong project planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, quality control, and reporting skills.

·       Experience influencing and directing project teams without formal reporting relationships.

·       Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·       10 or more years of IT project management experience.

·       Experience managing SDLC, infrastructure, application, or network equipment replacement projects.

·       Understanding of IT infrastructure and application architecture.

·       Experience managing technology vendors and statements of work.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Project.

·       Strong proficiency using Clarity PPM.

·       Experience leading Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
