Do you enjoy driving, meeting new people, and creating a welcoming guest experience?
The Holiday Inn Portland Airport is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-focused Airport Shuttle Driver to join our hospitality team. In this role, you’ll safely transport guests to and from Portland International Airport while delivering outstanding customer service that leaves a lasting first impression.
This is more than just a driving job — you’ll play an important role in creating a clean, welcoming, and helpful environment for our guests throughout the hotel.
What You’ll Do:
Guest Transportation & Service:
- Safely transport guests between the hotel and Portland International Airport.
- Greet guests warmly and assist with luggage.
- Provide excellent customer service and local area information.
- Communicate with the Front Desk regarding shuttle schedules and guest needs.
- Help create a positive arrival and departure experience for every guest.
Vehicle Safety & Maintenance:
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the shuttle vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and hotel procedures.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Hotel Guest Support During Downtime:
When not actively driving, you’ll help maintain a welcoming guest environment by:
- Assisting guests with directions and general requests.
- Helping maintain cleanliness in lobby and entrance areas.
- Picking up debris or trash when needed.
- Supporting lobby presentation and guest amenities.
- Providing visible guest service support throughout the property.
What We’re Looking For:
- Open Availability - Early Mornings, Evenings, Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
- Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet insurance and background check requirements.
- Strong communication and professionalism.
- Dependable and punctual work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive during downtime.
- Previous hotel, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and assist with luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with light cleaning tasks as needed.
