Description
Our client is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst with 10–15 years of banking experience to support regulatory reporting initiatives and system implementation, focusing on issue investigation, defect resolution, UAT testing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Support regulatory reporting initiatives, including issue investigation, defect resolution, and root cause analysis
- Participate in Axiom implementation, enhancement, and UAT testing activities across regulatory reporting workflows
- Analyze reporting discrepancies and identify data quality issues to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and maintain detailed testing documentation, workpapers, and defect management records
- Collaborate with Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology teams to ensure timely issue resolution and reporting accuracy
- Coordinate testing activities and support minor project management responsibilities as needed
- Apply banking products knowledge and financial data analysis skills to validate regulatory submissions
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across multiple departments
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in banking regulatory reporting
- Demonstrated expertise with Axiom, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 002, FR 2052a, FFIEC 009(a), and FR Y-15
- Strong UAT and defect management experience with structured testing methodologies
- Proven root cause analysis and financial data analysis capabilities
- Solid understanding of banking products and regulatory reporting requirements
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to prepare detailed workpapers
- Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
