Inside the Role
The IT Group Functions, Sales & Marketing, and CX department is actively transforming theorganization by implementing the IT strategy, “Building the Intelligent Company” and leading DTNA’s digital transformation efforts. DTNA IT is driving activities in products, services, processes, and people, all while facilitating data driven decision making and driving business optimization as well as innovation through successful implementation.
The HR, Legal & Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for the vision, leadership, and execution of DTNA’s digitalization strategy including applications, infrastructure and end user services that impact the HR, Legal, and Corporate Communication departments and their users. In collaboration with key business stakeholders, including DT Global counterparts, they are responsible for future digital strategy, process improvements, system landscape, as well as management of their project portfolio.

What You Drive at DTNA
- In collaboration with key stakeholders (local and global), develop a clear and compelling digital strategy while driving to execution.
- Collaborate with Executive Management and business stakeholders to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective, yet innovative and world-class IT solutions for DTNA that strengthen our market position, user experience and overall service delivery.
- Define annual plans, projects, delivery schedules, and report progress to business partners and IT management, including oversight of existing systems
- Validate that HR and Legal system implementations and enhancements are compliant with Daimler Truck global data model and maintenance guidelines, as well as with global and local data privacy regulations
- Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies and methods of support delivery on company systems, software or hardware.
- Communicate business requirements and associate these with projects and daily operations of various IT teams.
- Present technologies and strategic direction to various stakeholders including external customers, as required.
- Define, develop and communicate user/ technical service policies and documentation for products supported by the Infrastructure and Application support groups.
- Partners with business and technology leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Champions the AI transformation by fostering innovation, identifying high-value use cases, enhancing AI literacy, and embedding AI capabilities into business processes.
- Drives operational excellence through CI methodologies, process optimization and Lean principles to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage outsourced IT services with supplier relations for services including infrastructure, applications, hardware, software and other related services.
- Participate and contribute to IT strategic initiatives driven from the Leadership team of DTNA and DT Global IT
- Support team development and empowerment in an inclusive and safe environment.
- Provides coaching, direction and leadership to employees in order to achieve department, company and customer results.
- Fosters an inclusive team environment by promoting DTNA values and Culture and Belonging company initiatives.
- Work closely with Our People Team to attract and retain top talent, and to build digital capabilities across the team for long-term future success
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline, with 8 years of related experience required
- At least 2 years of group leader or supervisory experience required, preferably a digital team
- Good understanding of agile software development methodology
- Demonstrated effective leadership of enterprise software management and leading an IT organization in a complex business environment
- Experience working within a global enterprise preferred, including different time zones
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present business and technical subject matter to a variety of stakeholders (storytelling)

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Prior experience in handling medium/large scale IT project implementation
- Workday and/ or Project Management Certification
- Prior experience delivering enterprise solutions
