Job Description Summary

The Digital Collaboration Experience Leader is dedicated to transforming the way GE Vernova collaborates. Moving beyond technical support, this role is centered on behavioral change, adoption advocacy, and user-experience optimization. You will act as the champion for our core collaboration platforms, designing enablement programs that move employees from passive users to power users. Your mission is to optimize end-user productivity by simplifying our digital workspace, measuring the impact on organizational efficiency, reducing tool friction, and ensuring that our tools are consistently driving maximum value across the enterprise.

Job Description

Leadership & Influence

  • Successfully navigate a matrixed organization to drive alignment and adoption across disparate business units without direct line authority over those teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage, advise, and present to senior leadership. You must be able to translate complex technical/experience metrics into clear, actionable business narratives that resonate with executive decision-makers.
  • Serve as a visible, cultural champion for digital transformation. Build networks of "Digital Advocates" across the enterprise to scale your impact and create a groundswell of behavioral change.
  • Navigate competing interests between business units, IT, and HR. Use data and diplomacy to reach consensus, resolve tool-related friction, and maintain a unified digital strategy.
  • Act as a thought leader on the evolution of the workplace. Proactively identify future trends in digital collaboration and prepare the organization to adopt them, demonstrating the foresight and vision expected of future executive leadership.

Strategy & Prioritization

  • Work with the Product teams to establish a long-term vision for the collaboration ecosystem, ensuring it remains aligned with GE Vernova’s evolving business objectives.
  • Work with the Product teams on business-case development to justify the investment in (or retirement of) tools, balancing cost-efficiency with user-experience requirements.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional alignment between Business functions and DT, establishing a unified governance model that balances standardization with local business agility
  • Drive external vendor strategy by advocating for roadmap features that align with GE Vernova's long-term digital goals, effectively positioning us as a key enterprise customer in the vendor ecosystem.
  • Facilitate cross-functional forums that define the standards of digital collaboration, acting as the primary authority on how we work digitally.

Adoption & Enablement

  • Architect scalable, self-sustaining adoption frameworks that move beyond training sessions to create a permanent "digital-first" culture.
  • Partner with executive leadership to mentor high-impact teams, ensuring they are leveraging tools to achieve their specific business outcomes.
  • Design and implement comprehensive enablement architectures tailored to specific organizational personas, ensuring that adoption programs directly correlate to workforce efficiency and business outcomes
  • Institutionalize a 'digital-first' working culture by embedding collaboration best practices directly into the organizational workflow, reducing reliance on manual training and increasing self-sufficiency.

Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Own the end-to-end digital workplace communication strategy, influencing stakeholders across HR, Communications, and Leadership to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Translate complex user feedback and sentiment data into structural improvements, advocating for the user experience in high-level operational decisions.
  • Identify and evangelize high-impact use cases, institutionalizing success stories to scale effective collaboration habits across the global enterprise.
  • Drive change management strategy and execution to optimize the adoption of our collaboration platforms

Measurement & Insights

  • Establish the "Business Value" reporting framework, connecting tool usage to tangible organizational KPIs and presenting these findings to executive leadership.
  • Transform raw usage metrics into compelling executive narratives that influence investment decisions and policy shifts across the business.
  • Define and quantify the 'Digital Productivity Index' for the enterprise, providing a clear narrative to executive leadership on the ROI of our digital workplace investments.

Leadership Reporting & Governance

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on the health, productivity and risks of the digital workforce.
  • Synthesize complex digital workforce metrics into executive briefings that drive leadership decision-making and support high-level digital strategy shifts.
  • Lead high-visibility, cross-organizational projects, demonstrating the ability to manage complex internal politics and achieve buy-in without direct authority

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in IT enablement and use of digital workplace collaboration tools.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of enterprise technologies at scale.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling capability.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to drive decisions.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across a complex organization.
