1. Ensuring safety during all major mechnical preventive and break down
maintenance
2. Major corrective tools, procedures, spares regular review and
improvements
3. Bearing, HSS spares - Movements, Wind energy regular review and co
ordination
4. Visiting Bannur and Chitradurga guiding the team for attending preventive
and breakdown maintenances
5. Mechanical spares and readiness-HWND
6. Mechanical corrective maintenance RCA analysis
7. Stationary major component storage maintenance- GB, Gen
8. Force majeure - major components - Blade, Gear box, mainshaft - regular
monitoring supporting insurance claim
9. Random CMS inspection and analysis
10. Site training programs - developing training modules - mechanical
11. All Major mechanical break down special tools - -reverse engineering
12. All sites blade inspection, report review and reparation monitoring
13. Analysiing time duration for break downs and preventive works
14. Availability and production improvement ideas from time to time
15. Vendor development program for mechanical components - domestic.
Global Oil grease sampling analysis
16. Coordination with Spain engineering team for technical issues- domestic
17. Inspections for IRT material, reparation of components at vendor premises
18. Ensure strict adherence to ISO 45001 standards by following all health,
safety, and risk management guidelines during execution of site activities
and other related job at site.
19. Environmental preservation procedures development during major break
down maintenance as per IMS policy
20. Supporting IMS audit in all wind farms to ensure all systems and process in
place for mechanical maintenances
21. Should be ready to claim the turbine manually
22. This position is induvial contributor role and doesnot have any reportees.
23. This position does not have authority for approvals.
24. This position is accountable for above mentioned job description.
25. Technical competency required for this position is Mechanic knowledge in
Wind Turbine Site
26. Behaviour competency – leadership, problem solving, team work,
innovation.
27. This position is also required to closely work with other departments as an
when required.
Required Skills and Competencies
QUALIFICATION
- B.E Mechanical from reputed/recognized university
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in wind farm operations or high voltage installations, with experience of 8 to 10 years
