Overview
Sr. Officer - Legal
• To draft, review and negotiate legal contracts/agreements/documents to make sure that it is in the organization's interest. Ensuring company's interest is well secured while handling agreements.• Timely reply to legal notices received by the company from various regulatory authorities and issue legal notices to various parties as and when required.• Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide pro -active, practical, qualitative legal support and guidance to different business functions.• Support in legal review of marketing materials, training materials, events support.• To prepare Board / Shareholders Meetings documents. To ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 & FEMA and all regulatory filings are done on time. To support during statutory audits, dividend payouts, capitalization of profits and all corporate secretarial matters.• The role will be of an individual contributor.
The role demands quick learning, timely deliver, excellent communication and interpersonal skill and high integrity. Flexibility and willingness to take up new assignments. Team collaboration.The job gives an immense opportunity to learn and gain hands on experience by working on diversified legal matters and not a single day is a dull day at work.
Preferably have thorough knowledge of consumer Protection law, intellectual property, and other corporate laws.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communication styles to diverse audiences.
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can prioritize requests from multiple departments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• LLB from a reputed university in India & Company Secretary (Member of ICSI)
Skills
• Sharp legal knowledge, expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, excellent communication skills, ability to take independent decisions and work with senior leadership of the country. Team player
Experience
• 4 to 7 years
