Line Technician
The role will be the technical go-to person for ensuring zero-defect manufacturing by optimizing equipment uptime, performing precise product conversions, and rapidly diagnosing hardware and software interface issues between testers and handlers.
About the job:
Perform full-recipe and hardware changeovers (kits, change parts) for production runs on automated Power devices handlers and testers.
Lead advanced mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting on complex final test equipment to minimize MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and maximize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Ensure seamless docking, communication, and signal integrity between power/parametric testers and high-volume gravity-feed, strip, or pick-and-place handlers.
Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot laser marking systems to ensure precise device tracking, clear branding, and zero alignment defects.
Collaborate with Test and Quality Engineers to investigate high-reject rates, jam loops, and false failures (re-test optimization).
Maintain detailed logs of equipment maintenance, calibration records, and generate clear pass-down reports for the incoming shift.

About you:
Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
Five to seven years of experience
Proficient in MS Office
Analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Experience with CAD
High attention to detail
