ECE Post Doctoral Scholar

The Postdoctoral Scholar will conduct cutting-edge research in the areas of wireless networks and machine learning. The scholar is expected to collaborate closely with graduate students, faculty members, and our industry and Department of Defense (DoD) partners on a variety of research initiatives.  

In addition to research activities, the Postdoctoral Scholar will help identify and develop new research directions, contribute to the development of course modules and instructional materials, assist with proposal preparation, and support project management and reporting requirements for sponsored research. 

50% Responsible for conducting research in artificial intelligence (AI) and networking-related areas. The position includes assisting with the supervision and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students involved in the Institute's research activities, as well as contributing to the writing, editing, and publication of conference papers and journal articles.

20% Works collaboratively with the project team to ensure that research and educational activities meet planned milestones and project objectives. Assists in coordinating and co-organizing seminars, annual workshops, and regular project meetings, and supports the planning and execution of related activities.

20% Assists in coordinating activities among interdisciplinary research teams and supports faculty in the development of educational modules and instructional materials. Maintains and updates project repositories to ensure research resources, documentation, and educational content remain current and well organized.

10% Prepare technical reports, scholarly publications, and presentations to communicate research findings. Assist in mentoring student employees and participate in research group and unit meetings.
