Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Role in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, deliver outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring team culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and movement of employees, contractors, and/or deliveries.
• Observe operational activity across the logistics and distribution location and report hazards, damaged property, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
