Group Director, Client Strategy (Group Media Director)

 

As a Group Director, Client Strategy, you are a senior business and strategic leader responsible for a portfolio of enterprise and high-growth client relationships. You lead multiple Directors and their books of business, ensuring strategic excellence, operational rigor, and strong financial performance across your pod. Serving as both an executive client advisor and organizational leader, you drive integrated marketing strategies, strengthen executive partnerships, and deliver portfolio-level growth while setting the standard for cross-functional collaboration and commercial accountability.

You balance visionary leadership with disciplined execution, guiding full-funnel strategies across an integrated media ecosystem which includes paid, owned, and earned channels, while ensuring measurement, audience strategy, and creative align to business outcomes. Beyond client success, you develop high-performing leaders, strengthen operational systems, and contribute to agency-wide strategic initiatives. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $157,000 - $180,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.

This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.
