This senior leadership role serves as the strategic bridge between national broker partners, USRM field teams, and home office leaders. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-driven leader who excels at translating high-level strategy into measurable outcomes. You will lead a team of USRM broker focused National Relationship Executives (NRE) and oversees execution on national distribution priorities across both small commercial and personal lines.
Strategic Partnership & Broker Relations
This role champions and drives national broker strategy by cultivating aligned partnerships and leading a high-performing team focused on executing strategic and tactical distribution plans. The leader owns and facilitates regular deep-dive reviews with the national leadership team, delivering meaningful insights on key distribution topics across aligned broker relationships, while translating national broker priorities into clear, actionable plans executed in close collaboration with field distribution teams.
Distribution & Growth
The successful candidate identifies and mobilizes relevant areas of expertise across the organization to advance USRM priorities, leveraging internal partnerships and cross-functional dependencies to deploy impactful programs aligned with national broker models. This leader takes full ownership of pipeline management for large-scale growth opportunities — including panels and book consolidations — guiding them through all phases of development and execution.
Financial & Operational Excellence
This role plays a key part in financial and operational planning and prioritization processes for the National Agency Management (NAM) team, while driving resolution of escalated issues from national broker contacts spanning service, underwriting, programs, and claims. Working in close partnership with local teams, this leader delivers swift and effective outcomes for both agency and internal partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in a distribution management role focused on insurance and P&C product knowledge required. Preferred understanding of channel strategy and specifically broker characteristics, and commercial marketplace including product level details. Displays a broad understanding of insurance industry competitive dynamics and trends - locally, regionally and nationally.
- Strong analytical background with strategic thinking capabilities, influencing skills, attention to detail and ability to effectuate change.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and lead by influence across various levels of stakeholders collaborating across multiple geographies and business groups. Prior demonstrated success in leadership role with significant responsibility for business results, setting and implementing strategy, and project management. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in writing.
- Ability and willingness to travel. Significant travel is required (approx 25% of the time).
