The Position

Product Manager, Core Lab, Roche Diagnostics Asia Pacific

The Opportunity

• Lead the marketing, commercial strategy and lifecycle management of the Serum Work Area (SWA) - Immunoassay portfolio across the APAC region, driving sustainable business growth and customer value.

• Serve as Immunoassay portfolio lead and collaborate across the SWA Systems portfolio to ensure integrated portfolio strategy.

• Partner with the Regional Core Lab Team and APAC Affiliates to develop commercial strategies, accelerate business opportunities and strengthen execution excellence.

• Influence and align regional and global stakeholders to deliver successful portfolio strategies, launches and business priorities.

• Implement strategies and initiatives across the APAC region to drive the overall SWA business.

• Drive business performance through market analysis, opportunity identification, commercial planning and KPI management across the APAC region.

As the Product Manager, Core Lab, you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for strategic marketing and product lifecycle management of Immunoassay portfolio including customer engagement, organization of regional workshops, congresses and capability building for affiliates.

• Drive and support launch excellence across APAC through the Launch Powerhouse (LPH) framework, ensuring strong commercial readiness, affiliate engagement and successful market adoption.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of scientific/clinical data and literature related to the relevant product, competitor products, and disease areas. Work with other functions and affiliates to drive Roche’s product adoption.

• Drive business performance through portfolio analytics, KPI management, opportunity pipeline reviews and strategic business initiatives across APAC.

• Partner with SWA Systems Product Managers to develop and drive integrated Core Lab commercial strategies across APAC.

• Report to the APAC Business Manager, Core Lab, Lab & C-Suite Value Stream.

Who you are:

• Experience in the core lab (immunoassay and/or clinical chemistry) business.

• Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to translate market insights into executable commercial strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, marketing, product management or business development within the diagnostics or healthcare industry.

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional and regional stakeholders in a matrix organization without direct authority.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in the related field. Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, Medical Degree, PhD) in the related field desired. MBA is an advantage.

• At least 5 years of work experience in related field.

• Proven knowledge and expertise in area of focus and in the Asia Pacific region.

• Strong commercial acumen demonstrated through successful portfolio growth, market development, business planning or strategic commercial initiatives.

• Ability to achieve goals with minimal to moderate supervision and guidance

• Good aptitude for working with diverse cultural groups

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
