PURPOSE
Actively contribute to building the TIM IFRS17 team by:
Leading and managing the execution, validation and analysis of the FWD centralised IFRS17production for assigned business units
Leading and managing resources in supporting various Actuarial initiatives/projects requested by the Group Office and business units across FWD group.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. As the team lead:
Lead, coach and manage the team’s performance, development and morale to ensure team members achieve their goals according to the expected performance standards.
Manage the resources and ensure adequate resource allocation in work arrangement
Support the hiring of good talent
2. As the IFRS17 CSM Country Lead:
Lead and manage the execution, validation and analysis of the IFRS17 results for assigned business units, and ensure quality and on-time delivery of work
Review result reasonableness of and internal consistency across various result templates, forms and reports
Document result review findings and comments in Q&A log
Manage relationships and expectations of Group Office, assigned business units and other key stakeholders by developing a communication process to deliver defined production requirement within the agreed timeline and keep up-to-date production progress
Coordinate incoming requests from Group Actuarial, BU, downstream teams such as Alteryx, Oracle and Group Finance.
Resolve and where necessary, escalate and communicate unprecedented and complex issues to Head of TIM IFRS17 and business units in a timely manner
Communicate results to business units
Review and approve updates to operation manuals based on learnings from production cycle and discuss process or tool enhancements with IFRS 17 CSM Development Lead
Manage and prioritize ad-hoc requests from Group Actuarial or BUs during result production
3. Set project priorities for the team and oversee all projects deliverables including planning and managing the resources in delivering the Actuarial initiatives/projects from Group Actuarial and business unit.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
6 to 8 years insurance experience in actuarial functions
Fellowship or nearly fellowship member of an internationally recognised actuarial professional body
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Strong understanding of Actuarial valuation processes and IFRS17
Solid Prophet experience
Strong Excel skills
Good Python skills
Good analytical skills
