KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- The Middle Office Oversight team is responsible for providing effective oversight of the end-to-end middle office activities across Eastspring Investments. The team works closely with outsourced service providers to ensure post-trade operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery across all supported asset classes.
- This role works with the Head of Middle Office Oversight and plays a critical role in ensuring strong governance, issue management, and continuous improvement across middle office operations.
- Provide oversight to Middle Office Service provider across all asset class for transaction management, derivative operations, corporate actions, reconciliations, client and trade regulatory reporting, and serving as a key escalation point for operational issues.
- Manage middle office service provider performance indicators including monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and delivery commitments.
- Proactively challenge, escalate, and resolve issues impacting service quality, accuracy, or timeliness.
- Conduct regular service reviews and prepare performance scorecards for senior management.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, custodians, brokers, and outsourced service providers to ensure timely resolution of trade-related issues and queries.
- Stay abreast of market, regulatory, and industry developments and drive necessary process and control enhancements.
- Maintain, review, and update team processes, procedures, operating manuals, and checklists.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.
- Work with service providers on prompt incident reporting, investigation, and remediation.
- Track root causes of operational issues and ensure preventive measures are implemented.
- Escalate and communicate material issues to senior management and regulators where required.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and development support to junior team members, and actively contribute to talent management and succession planning.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience within the asset management industry, preferably in a middle office, operations, or oversight role.
- Strong operational expertise across asset management activities.
- Good working knowledge of multiple asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Rates, FX Forwards, and Money Market instruments.
- Experience with Aladdin or similar front-to-back investment platforms is preferred.
