ABOUT THIS JOB:
The Warehouse Supervisor supports the Warehouse Manager in running the daily operations of a busy event design & production warehouse occupying over 30,000 square feet. This includes supervising the pick, packing, and pulling process, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and deliveries of shows in a very fast paced environment. This position requires supervising employees and ensuring that all employees follow warehouse safety guidelines and regulations. This also requires working closely with other supervisors, managers, and departments.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Open and close the warehouse as scheduled.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations and the quality output of the warehouse (gear preparation, QC, packing, and loading/unloading of event production equipment)
- Communicate expectations and delegate daily tasks, custom orders, and projects to staff.
- Maintain the security, and integrity of all warehouse equipment while ensuring its safe use and operation.
- Print and analyze pull sheets, trucking schedules, and custom orders.
- Make sure that trucks are loaded and unloaded safely.
- Supervise the pick, pull, and packing of orders and rentals, and ensure efficiency and quality
- Supervise the receiving of shows, rentals, and purchased orders.
- Organize, track and monitor event equipment as it moves inbound/outbound to/from events.
- Report any missing or broken gear to the Inventory Manager.
- Solve problems as they materialize.
- Other duties as assigned.
EMPLOYEE SUPERVISION:
- Supervise standards for conduct, performance, and efficiency for all warehouse employee
- Supervise safety, breaks, and performance of staff throughout shift
- Promote teamwork, team building, continued training, and staff morale
- Report any employee issues and coach as necessary.
- Train newer staff as needed and make sure that employees have attended or received the proper training for warehouse operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires a High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in live event lighting production, entertainment technology, warehouse operations, or another fast-paced, related environment.
- Working knowledge of professional lighting equipment, including conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems and temporary event power distribution is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event and production schedules.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Previous experience driving 16'–24' box trucks
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse material handling equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy, unheated, and not air conditioned
- Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
SCHEDULE:
- In person work
- Regular Schedule: Friday–Tuesday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
- Note: Requires schedule flexibility approximately once a month to accommodate an early start time of 5:30 AM or earlier.
COMPENSATION:
- $72,384 per year
