Baker Tilly is seeking a Managing Director, Industrial Products – Managed Services to lead the strategy, growth, and delivery of our Managed Services offerings for the Industrial Products sector, with a primary focus on Dealerships and the broader Industrial Products ecosystem. This executive leadership role will be responsible for shaping how Baker Tilly serves dealership clients by developing scalable service offerings, driving implementation excellence, and building long-term managed services relationships that deliver measurable business value.
The Managing Director will partner closely with Managed Services leadership, industry leaders, client service teams, technology, implementation, operations, AI enablement, offshore delivery teams, and growth leaders to establish a cohesive strategy for Industrial Products Managed Services. This includes defining new service offerings, enhancing implementation methodologies, expanding recurring managed services capabilities, and ensuring consistent, high-quality client delivery.
This is a senior leadership role focused on creating a differentiated market position for Baker Tilly within the Industrial Products sector while building scalable operating models that support long-term client success. The ideal candidate understands the dealership landscape, technology-enabled services, recurring revenue models, and the operational challenges facing Industrial Products organizations.
Key Responsibilities and Leadership Expectations
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for Baker Tilly's Managed Services offerings within the Industrial Products sector, with a primary focus on dealerships and the broader Industrial Products ecosystem.
- Build and expand differentiated Managed Services offerings that address the operational, technology, and business needs of dealerships while strengthening Baker Tilly's market position.
- Lead the strategy for implementation services by establishing scalable methodologies, governance models, and best practices that accelerate client adoption and long-term success.
- Partner across Industry, Managed Services, Technology, Operations, AI Enablement, Offshore Delivery, and Growth teams to deliver an integrated, consistent client experience.
- Serve as the executive sponsor for strategic client relationships, providing trusted leadership, executive oversight, and proactive guidance throughout the client lifecycle.
- Drive business growth by identifying market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, supporting business development efforts, and expanding existing client relationships.
- Establish scalable service delivery standards, KPIs, SLAs, and operational frameworks that improve quality, consistency, profitability, and client satisfaction across multiple engagements.
- Champion innovation by leveraging automation, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies to improve service delivery and create long-term client value.
- Mentor and develop high-performing leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Represent Baker Tilly as a thought leader within the Industrial Products industry, building executive relationships and helping shape the future direction of the firm's Managed Services strategy.
- Make strategic decisions that balance client experience, operational excellence, growth, scalability, and financial performance while advancing Baker Tilly's long-term vision for the Industrial Products practice.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an experienced executive leader with deep expertise in the Industrial Products industry, preferably including significant experience working with dealerships or dealership-focused technology and operations. This individual will have a proven track record building and leading managed services organizations, implementation teams, or technology-enabled service businesses.
The ideal leader combines industry knowledge with operational excellence and understands how to develop scalable recurring service offerings while maintaining exceptional client experiences. They are equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy, leading executive client conversations, developing new service offerings, and driving operational execution.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Industrial Products, dealerships, managed services, consulting, professional services, or technology-enabled delivery.
- Demonstrated experience working with dealership organizations and a strong understanding of dealership operations, business processes, and industry technology solutions.
- Proven success leading implementation services, managed services organizations, or recurring client delivery models.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and building scalable service offerings.
- Strong understanding of implementation methodologies, client onboarding, governance models, KPIs, SLAs, and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to build executive-level client relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating across consulting, technology, operations, delivery, and business development organizations.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing engagement economics, scope, profitability, and client growth.
- Experience leveraging automation, workflow technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and digital delivery models to improve client outcomes preferred.
- The pay rate range for this job position is $182,150 - $345,330. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
