Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
