Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus two years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, and database systems.
- Knowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) communication devices and MRP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and self-motivation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead employee training and development, including onboarding, training plans, documentation, and ongoing skills updates.
- Train and develop employees by ensuring training programs align with company standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while serving as a proactive change agent.
- Improve operational performance by identifying recurring issues and implementing corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives while serving as a proactive change agent.
- Build positive employee relationships through open communication, fair and consistent policy administration, performance management, training, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate across departments to support operational objectives, uphold Magna principles, and ensure high-performance team results.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, Magna Employee Charter principles, Quality and Material Management Systems, ISO 14001 requirements, and company objectives.
