Our client, an established and respected multifamily owner/operator in the Bloomfield and Montclair, New Jersey market, is seeking a Senior Leasing Specialist to support a portfolio of apartment communities located within minutes of one another. This is a leasing-focused role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working with prospects, embraces new technology—including AI tools—and takes pride in delivering an exceptional resident experience.

What You'll Do

• Drive leasing activity by converting qualified prospects into new residents.
• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the leasing journey, from first tour through move-in.
• Manage prospect follow-up, CRM activity, and leasing documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, resident events, and outreach efforts to maximize occupancy.
• Utilize AI tools and technology to improve efficiency and enhance the leasing process.
• Collaborate with a long-tenured onsite team to ensure a seamless resident and prospect experience.
• Support the day-to-day administrative functions of the leasing office while maintaining compliance with company policies.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of multifamily leasing experience.
• Proven success meeting or exceeding leasing and occupancy goals.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Comfortable learning and leveraging AI tools and technology to improve performance.
• A collaborative, positive attitude and the ability to contribute to an established, close-knit team.
• Professional, polished, and passionate about a long-term career in multifamily leasing.
