The Global Media Process & Operating Model Lead owns the Media Lab operating model, ensuring consistent, scalable, and efficient ways of working across HP, agency, and market teams. The role is responsible for designing and evolving operating standards, workflows, governance frameworks, and adoption programs that enable business continuity, operational excellence, and successful execution of the Media Lab vision. This role serves as the primary connector between strategy, operations, agency teams, and enabling functions to ensure processes, tools, and ways of working remain aligned and effective across the global ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Operating Model & Ways of Working
· Own the Media Lab operating model and continuously evolve global ways of working.
· Define and maintain roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and decision rights across HP, agency, and market teams.
· Ensure operational consistency while enabling regional flexibility where needed.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify workflows and reduce operational complexity.
Process Excellence & Standards
· Establish and maintain global process standards, SOPs, playbooks, and business rules.
· Govern briefing frameworks, taxonomy, and workflow requirements.
· Ensure alignment between planning, execution, reporting, and operational processes.
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and eliminate duplicate activities.
Agency Integration & Operational Readiness
· Partner with agency teams to embed consistent operating practices and service delivery standards.
· Define and maintain HP-to-agency workflows, escalation paths, and operational responsibilities.
· Ensure operational readiness for new agency capabilities, tools, and ways of working.
· Support onboarding and enablement of new agency teams and capabilities.
Tools, Platforms & Workflow Enablement
· Act as business owner for operational workflows across Media Lab platforms.
· Partner with MarTech, Data, IT, and agency teams to ensure processes are supported by technology.
· Drive adoption of workflow enhancements, automation opportunities, and platform improvements.
· Coordinate readiness activities for new tools, integrations, and operational capabilities.
Change Management & Adoption
· Lead adoption of new operating processes, tools, and capabilities across global teams.
· Develop and execute enablement, onboarding, and communication plans for operating model changes.
· Monitor adoption and compliance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Support business readiness for future Media Lab capabilities and transformation initiatives.
Cross-Functional Alignment
· Serve as the primary operational liaison across Media, Agency, and regional stakeholders.
· Facilitate operational reviews and forums to drive alignment, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
· Support leadership in ensuring consistent execution of Media Lab priorities and operating principles.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in Interactive marketing, online customer service, or a related field.
Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with and/or experience in media principles, tactics, and tools.
Working knowledge of marketing activities, principles, and tools / procedures.
Strong background in operational effectiveness and improvement.
Excellent analytical skills combined with ability to communicate complexity with brevity.
Self-directed with a passion to continue to learn and grow, embracing the continuous improvement approach (define-measure-analyze-improve-control).
Strong organizational, communication, and program management skills, with the ability to represent the function in executive forums and communications.
Track record of setting goals, creating a plan, and delivering results.
Ability to maintain a long-term perspective whilst delivering on day-to-day responsibilities.
Fluency in English.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
8+ years of experience in the marketing or advertising industry.
Experience in project and/or operations management.
Experience within a consultancy in Strategy & Operations field a plus.
Experience in matrixed organizations a plus.
