Reporting to the Manager – Planning and Talent Attraction, the Junior Campus Recruiter is responsible for executing and continuously improving early-career talent programs across the organization, including internships, student jobs, and development pathways for early-career salaried employees.
Your mandate will be to lead, promote, and coordinate Agropur’s Canadian and U.S. internship program, which hosts nearly 100 interns each year. You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process in collaboration with Agropur’s internal stakeholders, academic institutions, as well as prospective students and future interns, while ensuring established deadlines are met.

Your role in achieving results:
Analytics, Reporting & Talent Pipeline Management
- Develop return-offer recommendations.
Campus Recruiting & Employer Branding
- Coordinate the university recruiting season.
- Develop the annual university recruiting strategy.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure internship compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain university partnership agreements.
Internship & Early Career Recruitment
- Complete hires in Workday.
- Conduct candidate screenings.
- Coordinate hiring decisions.
- Gather internship hiring needs.
- Screen and evaluate internship candidates.
Internship Program Management & Experience
- Attend career fairs and campus recruiting events.
- Conduct intern orientation.
- Coordinate the return-offer process.
- Develop the annual campus recruiting calendar.
- Organize and coordinate intern engagement activities.
- Manage intern communications and monitor the program mailbox.
- Manage the intern onboarding process.
- Support intern managers by providing tools, expectations, and guidelines.
Student Talent Program Management & Experience
- Manage partnerships with student organizations.
Performance, Conversion & Feedback
- Conduct hiring manager satisfaction surveys.
- Conduct intern satisfaction surveys.
- Develop resources for intern managers.
- Identify high-potential interns.
- Maintain early-career talent pipelines.
- Support the intern performance feedback process.
Strategy, Governance & Leadership
- Coordinate new graduate hiring programs.
- Design program structures.
- Implement approved programs.
- Manage the internship alumni network.
- Maintain internship program documentation.
- Present program updates to business stakeholders.
- Present results to leadership.
- Recommend program improvements.
University, School & Student Organization Partnerships
- Communicate with educational institutions during recruitment periods.
- Develop university partnerships.
- Manage relationships with technical schools.
- Manage university relationships.
- Deliver information sessions for the Food Science Club.
What we are looking for to deliver these results:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Marketing, Communications, or any other relevant field;
- Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written, essential to communicate with our partners across Canada and the United States;
- Well-organized, effectively manages time and handles multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Strong knowledge of ATS tools is essential to manage candidate pools, track progress, and ensure compliance;
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other domain-specific software;
- Ability to make decisions within tight deadlines, sometimes with incomplete information and under pressure;
- Results-driven and performance-oriented, strives to exceed objectives and motivate oneself and others to achieve positive outcomes.
