The Business Intelligence (BI) Intern will support the Data team in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role provides hands-on experience working with enterprise data, creating interactive dashboards, developing reports, and helping business users gain insights through data visualization and analytics. The intern will collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, database administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions that support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and testing of Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create and maintain visualizations, KPIs, scorecards, and operational reports.
- Support data preparation activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Develop and modify Power Query transformations and basic DAX calculations.
- Work with SQL-based data sources, data warehouses, and enterprise reporting platforms.
- Participate in gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
- Help document report specifications, data definitions, and development standards.
