You will drive reliability, automation, scalability, and developer experience improvements across the engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve platform components, tooling, automation frameworks, and golden paths.- Lead cross-team initiatives to improve reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.- Collaboratively define and maintain standards for CI/CD, IaC, observability, platform governance, and developer workflows.- Mentor engineers, lead technical design reviews, and elevate engineering practices.- Diagnose complex distributed systems issues and lead incident resolution and post-incident analysis.- Drive automation of deployment workflows, resilience patterns, failure recovery mechanisms, and lifecycle management.- Partner with SRE, infrastructure, security, and product engineering teams to align platform capabilities with business priorities.- Represent Developer Platforms in technical forums and influence platform adoption.
Qualifications
To land this role you will need:- 7+ years of platform, SRE, cloud, or infrastructure engineering experience.- Deep experience with distributed systems, Kubernetes, cloud-native patterns, and automation.- Strong expertise in CI/CD systems, IaC (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation), and platform reliability.- Significant experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.- Excellent communication, architectural thinking, and cross-functional leadership.What makes you stand out:- Experience driving platform modernization or large-scale migrations.- Ability to define long-term platform strategy and architectural direction.- Passion for developer experience, internal platforms, and accelerating engineering velocity.- Demonstrated impact in scaling infrastructure, improving reliability, and maturing engineering ecosystems.Education / Certification Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.- Advanced cloud or platform engineering certifications preferred.Working Environment- Hybrid, four days in the office.- Minimal travel.
