About the role

MSS Security is looking for an experienced IT professional for a Team Leader role.

The position is primarily responsible for ensuring 24x7x365 IT systems & services availability. You will lead a motivated, customer-focused team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will take ownership of technical issues through to resolution while providing guidance, mentoring, and support to team members to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain compliance with the ISO 27001 standard

• Maintain 24x7x365 availability of on-premises and cloud server infrastructure

• Resolve technical issues within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)

• Monitor, investigate and resolve all security incidents

• Lead and manage the IT Services Helpdesk team

Skills & experience

• Demonstrated experience in an IT Team Leader or similar leadership role

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server environments

• Experience administering Barracuda Backup and Email Security, Zscaler and SentinelOne

• Sound understanding of cyber security principles, best practices and technologies

• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Full Australian working rights

• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and other pre-employment screening requirements
