WHAT WE'RE SEEKING
Topgolf is seeking a Leave and Disability Specialist to serve as the subject matter expert for the administration and processing of Topgolf's leave and disability policies, including STD/LTD benefit programs and ADA accommodations. This role partners with the Benefits team, vendors, Team Members, managers, payroll, and legal counsel to ensure Topgolf remains in compliance with all company, State, and Federal regulations. Working with general supervision, you'll operate with significant autonomy and professional judgment, delivering first-rate customer service, keeping Topgolf's leave and disability programs compliant, competitive, and equitable, and surfacing the business intelligence that supports strategic decision-making. The right person is a clear communicator, a steady problem-solver, and comfortable balancing empathy for Team Members with the rigor of complex, evolving regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Leave & Disability Administration
Administer and track leave of absence for all company leaves, including FMLA, disability/medical, military, and personal leaves, acting as a liaison between Team Members, Office Managers, and vendor
Provide guidance to Team Members and managers on leave of absence policies and procedures, advising Team Members on eligibility and managers on the status of approved leaves
Maintain effective communication with Team Members, managers, and the payroll department throughout the leave process
Administer disability accommodations in accordance with State and Federal regulations
Initiate the interactive process of accommodation: research reasonable accommodation options, identify and coordinate the final accommodation, and prepare the company's written response
Compliance & Policy
Ensure compliance with FMLA and various state leave acts, as well as all other medical, personal, and military leaves
Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absence and disabilities
Provide training, advice, and assistance to managers in accordance with multiple, complex regulations and policies
Monitor new and evolving benefits legislation and provide compliance action recommendations
Assist with policy and procedural revisions, as well as special duties as assigned
Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with the HR team and others to ensure legally compliant, best-practice leave and disability policies and procedures
Oversee and coordinate information with the external leave and disability vendor
Utilize internal and external vendor systems to run queries and format reports on a periodic basis
Maintain the confidentiality and security of data accessed during the course of daily activities
Perform additional tasks and support other projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field from an accredited program preferred
At least 3 years of Human Resources experience required; experience with Leave and Disability Administration, including knowledge of the ADA Interactive Process, preferred
Proficient ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English with management, coworkers, Team Members, and external vendors; bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred
Proficient knowledge of Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
Proficient ability to manage demanding, evolving, and potentially overlapping deadlines through effective contingency planning
Ability to collaborate with others and conduct working relationships in a manner acceptable to the organization
Demonstrated ability to champion, model, and influence customer-focused behaviors, including providing sympathetic, effective counseling to Team Members on both leaves and benefits matters
Learning capacity to receive and apply cross-functional training, with willingness to support other functions and work groups as needed
Ability to recognize discrepancies or errors in written/recorded data, initiating and responding to work errors professionally and collaboratively
Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions
Working knowledge of Workday HRIS preferred
Working knowledge of leave administration vendors and their technology (e.g., Aflac, HR Acuity) preferred
Consistently demonstrates a commitment to Topgolf policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
