Description
We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker for our preferred client in metal stamping operations in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on building, maintaining, and repairing production tooling to support safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair tools, dies, and fixtures
- Perform precision machining using manual equipment (mills, lathes, grinders)
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain and troubleshoot production tooling to minimize downtime
- Inspect and test tooling to ensure quality and performance standards are met
- Support tooling improvements and modifications
- Follow all safety procedures and standards
- Operate overhead crane as required
Requirements
- Licensed Tool and Die Maker
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with manual machining equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience in steel blanking or metal stamping preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: $46.35/per hour
