[What the role is]
This role will be responsible for developing and enhancing automation and data analytics solutions to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making within OCC Operations team.[What you will be working on]
Enhance the existing automation framework for data cleaning and computation tasks
Identify gaps in the current automation solution and develop additional functionalities to meet evolving operational requirements
Work closely with team members to understand the data management workflow and ensure automation solutions are aligned with business needs
Perform data validation and ensure quality assurance of outputs from automated processes
Provide support to OCC Operations in data analytics initiatives, including but not limited to the participation in Concept of Operations (ConOps) discussions & presentations
Support ad-hoc tasks related to process improvement and data handling as assigned by the division
[What we are looking for]
Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong proficiency in Excel VBA with hands-on experience in developing automation scripts for data workflows
Good understanding of data cleaning and validation principles
Good foundation of dashboard creation and the use of data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to understand and translate operational needs into technical solutions
Prior experience working within a similar operational data environment, or a Command Center, is a plus
