Job Summary:

To perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear procedures for the detection and treatment of disease, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. To prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs.

Education & Experience

Graduate of a formal educational program in Nuclear Medicine Technology accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or met the requirements for certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required:  ARRT Registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB); Mississippi registration within the applicable time frame.
