For our site in Esenyurt, Istanbul we are looking for you as Project Buyer (m/f/d)

These challenges await you:

• Coordinate purchasing activities within interdisciplinary development teams — from project kick-off, early supplier involvement and price negotiations through to series production readiness

• Develop bidder lists and sourcing plans in collaboration with the commodity managers

• Prepare analytical evaluations to support purchasing decisions and present them to the Sourcing Committee (SoCo)

• Initiate and implement targeted measures to reduce material costs

• Conduct global sourcing activities in cooperation with international purchasing teams

• Prepare and support supplier relocations

• Identify and approve new suppliers

• Support supplier development activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Successfully completed degree in engineering, business administration or a comparable field of study

• At least two years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally within an industrial environment

• Results-oriented and structured way of working

• Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and a high degree of personal responsibility and initiative

• Professional competence combined with strong communication and teamwork skills

• Confident use of PCs and MS Office applications; experience with SAP R/3 is an advantage

• Fluent written and spoken German and English

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

• Enjoy working in an international environment
