Position Title: Supply Chain Inventory & Logistics Coordinator
Department: Supply Chain
Work Location: El Paso, TX
Non-Exempt, Hourly position
Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance. Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations.
What you will be doing:
Coordinate all transactions in the Work in Process/Outside Processing (WIP/OP) modules within the ORACLE application to complete tasks for the internal and external customer’s needs. Enforces processes to avoid timing issues. Maintain communication with the third-party co- packers to obtain the most accurate information.
Create discrete jobs in designated organizations under the WIP/OP ORACLE module from the planograms provided by Marketing and Special Projects Coordinator. Provides the internal requisition to the Purchasing Department to generate the purchase order for the co-packer
Follows-up with co-packer facilities to complete the transactions in the ORACLE system to match their records
Perform receiving transactions in the ORACLE system for the internal customers to complete the invoicing of the goods
Perform miscellaneous adjustments, as needed, within the limits of approval from supervisor
Reconcile EOM/EOQ inventory with co-packers. Validates transactions and request back- up, as needed
Validate job completion for all United States and Canada organizations, on a weekly basis, to eliminate variances for material and labor at month-end
Validate purchase orders fill rate for Wal-Mart, daily, to avoid charge backs
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Excellent oral and written English communication skills, organizational skills, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time management skills
Good analytical skills, attention to detail and strong presentation skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite skills
Strong office administration experience with filing, data entry, document control and copying
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
1+ year of experience in supply chain (planning), logistics, or customer service coordination within the consumer goods industry
Solid ERP systems experience (SAP or Oracle)
Proven experience in MS Excel
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Helen of Troy products and Order Management procedures
ORACLE Order Management system experience
