Description

About Kasa

Kasa is the leading tech-enabled hotel and apartment hotel brand and manager. We partner with owners of multifamily and boutique hospitality properties to deliver stylish, professionally managed accommodations to business and leisure travelers alike. We took the best that hotels and short-term rentals had to offer and created a new class of hospitality that is well-priced, reliable, and offers a large selection of great locations.

Unlike traditional hotel operators, we prioritize automation, AI-driven pricing, and data-driven decision-making to optimize revenue and improve guest experiences. Behind the scenes, we build technology that combines with our innovative operations to grow a globally scalable offering that delivers high-quality stays to guests. Our guests enjoy seamless check-ins, caring service, and attractive amenities — and if anything comes up, our on-site and remote guest experience team is available throughout their stay, ensuring our hospitality is rarely seen but always felt.

Associate Director, Sales

The Role

As the Associate Director of Sales at Kasa, you will lead a high-performing sales team to accelerate our growth in corporate and group segments. You will own the strategy, talent, and execution needed to position Kasa as the preferred accommodations partner for corporate travelers and group customers across our nationwide portfolio.

Your leadership will shape how we source, close, and grow B2B demand. You’ll develop a best-in-class sales team, establish disciplined operating rhythms, create accountability and reporting structures, and personally secure key national accounts that drive material revenue contribution toward our annual budget goals.

This role is designed for a commercial builder: a leader who blends strategic vision with hands-on revenue generation and a passion for developing people and systems that scale.

About the Team

You’ll join Kasa’s broader Commercial organization and collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Distribution, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring Sales is tightly integrated with the full commercial engine. Kasa intends to disrupt traditional hospitality operations.  You will be part of a team that will define the next generation of commercial success, building a high performance team leveraging the latest in artificial intelligence and automation technologies.

Strategic Impact

  • Design and execute a corporate and group sales strategy that delivers against Kasa’s ambitious growth targets.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team with clear roles, expectations, and coaching pathways.
  • Implement scalable processes, reporting cadences, and performance management systems that drive accountability and results.
  • Align sales targets with Kasa’s overall commercial goals, ensuring transparency, predictability, and accurate forecasting.

Day in the Life

Your focus will center on talent, performance, and pipeline:
  • Lead pipeline, forecasting, and account review sessions with your team, operations and Kasa Leadership.
  • Build and refine standardized processes for account targeting, prospecting, contracting, and handoff.
  • Engage directly with senior travel managers, TMC leaders, project-based travel buyers, and national corporate partners.
  • Track performance metrics, evaluate productivity, and refine strategies to unlock incremental revenue.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure Sales is aligned with market strategy, inventory expectations, and demand opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, lead, and retain a high-performing regional sales team, including hiring for key roles.
  • Establish clear KPIs, accountability systems, and performance management routines.
  • Provide individual coaching, mentorship, and development plans that elevate team capability and results.
  • Foster a team culture rooted in accountability, transparency, motivation, and continuous improvement.

Corporate & Group Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute a national corporate and group sales strategy aligned with Kasa’s revenue and profitability goals.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets tied to Kasa’s annual budget.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Revenue Management, Operations, Distribution, and Marketing.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence pricing, product, distribution channels, and new market expansion.
  • Represent Kasa at conferences, industry events, and customer-facing engagements.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years in B2B sales with deep corporate account experience. Industry background is flexible.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing national corporate accounts.
  • Experience establishing disciplined sales processes, forecasting routines, and reporting cadences.
  • Strong operational rigor and comfort with data-driven performance management.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience thriving in high-growth, fast-moving, tech-enabled environments.

Plus If You Have
