What you'll do...
Role summary:The Director, Product Management leads the vision and strategy for the Audience Targeting & Insights pillar, guiding multiple teams through the full product lifecycle from discovery to value realization. This role drives customer-centric solutions by leveraging Walmart's scaled first-party data and insights, along with strategic data partnerships. This leader will manage cross-functional priorities, ensure the Audiences roadmap is aligned with dependent teams' roadmaps and Walmart Connect's business objectives. Responsible for product and talent development, the position fosters collaboration across stakeholders to deliver measurable impact. The Director champions innovation, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making to advance product success and organizational goals.

The Audiences team is transforming Walmart Connect’s advertising by developing audience building, sharing, and targeting solutions. Leveraging Walmart’s extensive data, the team enables Suppliers, Sellers, and Partners to connect with the most relevant customers, enhancing shopper experiences throughout their journey. This team leads product strategy and execution through data-driven decision making, stakeholder collaboration, and emerging technologies. Working cross-functionally, the team defines product roadmaps, prioritizes customer needs, and delivers measurable business value. The environment fosters innovation and continuous improvement, empowering product leaders to influence outcomes and advance Walmart’s mission with impactful, data-informed advertising solutions.
What you'll do:
- Own and drive product vision and strategy for Audience Targeting & Insights, aligning roadmaps with business objectives and customer needs.
- Lead a product team through full lifecycle management, from discovery to value realization, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Manage cross-functional trade-offs, balancing scope, feasibility, cost, and time-to-value across Engineering, Design, and Business partners.
- Champion data-driven decision making by defining metrics, guiding experimentation, and leveraging AI and analytics to optimize product performance.
- Develop and mentor product talent, fostering alignment with organizational goals and promoting high standards of integrity and ethics.
- Oversee prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic stakeholder communication to maximize customer value and business impact.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience leading product vision and strategy for complex product families, with proven ability to manage full product lifecycle from discovery to value realization.
- Strong leadership skills in managing multiple product teams, developing talent, and fostering cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, and Business partners.
- Expertise in data-driven decision making, including defining outcome-based metrics, leveraging analytics, and applying experimentation to optimize product performance.
- Demonstrated ability to align product roadmaps with business objectives, balancing risk, dependencies, and financial outcomes.
- Exceptional skills in customer-centric problem solving, journey mapping, and translating insights into scalable product solutions.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00 - $312,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
