Job SummaryServes as the Marketing Specialist supporting branding, facility design, construction, and wayfinding initiatives across UMC locations. Assists with coordinating marketing projects from planning through completion while providing administrative and operational support for the Marketing Department, including invoice processing and office operations.

Job Specific Responsibilities
• Serves as the primary point of contact within Marketing for all facility/construction/interior design projects; enters all projects within marketing project management software, Monday.com, and supports the Facility & Design Project Manager on all projects from beginning to end.
• Coordinates furniture selections and installations to ensure hospital standards are cohesive throughout all UMC locations.
• Designs and integrate wayfinding and signage solutions.
• Conducts on-site rounding to provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects and updates to damaged or missing items such as artwork, décor, furniture, etc.
• Reconciles project and departmental invoices and enters them into the appropriate systems for processing and payment.
• Provides administrative and project coordination support for time and attendance as well as departmental initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing or similar field preferable.
• Two years of experience in Interior Design, Architecture, Marketing or similar field required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of facility design, interior design, furniture standards, and wayfinding principles within a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of project coordination, invoice processing, and project management software (e.g., Monday.com).
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate facility design projects from planning through completion while maintaining quality and consistency with organizational standards.
• Ability to evaluate spaces, identify improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations that enhance functionality, aesthetics, and the patient experience.
Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships
Daily interaction with other staff within the Marketing department. Frequent contact with other department directors and upper-level management for presenting campaigns. Needs to be able to train others in performing tasks and understanding information.
Physical Capabilities
Frequently exerts a moderate amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull and move objects. Must be able to easily move about the hospital. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to crouch, bend, stretch, twist, reach out and retain balance. Must be able to climb and stand on appropriate stools/ladders, etc. Must be able to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away as well as up close for editing. Must be able to see differences between colors, shades, and brightness. Must be able to use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Some after-hours work will be required to meet some deadlines and perform special events functions.
