We are seeking a talented individual to join our Office of Colleague Technology team at Marsh. This role will be based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Business Data Analyst, you will support senior stakeholders by delivering clear, accurate reporting and insights across a large-scale technology budget and portfolio. You will help track allocations and forecast trends, consolidate updates from global partners, and produce leadership-ready materials that enable effective planning and governance within Marsh Tech.
We will count on you to:
- Support tracking and governance for a large-scale technology budget, including allocation visibility and regular reporting.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint for senior stakeholders.
- Assist with forecasting and trend analysis (e.g., run-rate tracking, variance analysis, risks/opportunities).
- Coordinate and document inputs related to supplier spend, contracts, and planned initiatives, working with global stakeholders across time zones.
- Assist in drafting and maintaining business requirements and functional specifications for enhancements and new systems.
- Follow the Change Management process for enhancements and support documentation of updates and outcomes.
What you need to have:
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., business analysis, reporting/controls, PMO support, budget/spend tracking, or data/reporting roles in a corporate environment).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience producing structured, leadership-ready outputs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Romanian and English, with confidence engaging global stakeholders.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with recurring reporting cycles and structured datasets.
